Breakfast and Lunch Menus

KSD partners with Reed Union School District and Ross School District to provide a California Universal Meals Program. The Reed Union School District is our district's school food authorizer supporting the implementation and compliance of the program which reduces program expenditures through shared resources and operating efficiencies.

Details of the program include:

• Breakfast and lunch is offered free of charge to all students during each school day as part of the California Universal Meals Program;
• Our vendor providing breakfast and lunch is Revolution Foods.
• Ordering is in a bulk order format, so parents do not need to pre-order meals for their child/ren
• There is a KSD Food Service Assistant at each school site to support daily operations
• KSD is supported by parent volunteers for the lunch program.

Although we have implemented a universal meal program, it is still important that qualified families complete the KSD Free and Reduced Lunch application, as it may provide benefits to the district and family, including:

• State and Federal Funding for School Budgets
• Access to P-EBT Eligibility
• Suggested school supplies, yearbook at no cost, etc.
