1 - Visit the Aeries Online Enrollment Portal

Click Enroll A New Student if starting a new registration from scratch, or Login at the lower left If continuing a registration you already started.

Always begin registration for each student as stated above, even if (1) you have other children attending in the district; (2) you are enrolling multiple children; or (3) you already have an Aeries Parent Portal account (which is NOT the same as the enrollment portal).

2 - Log in or Create an Aeries Enrollment Portal Account

During the online enrollment process you will be asked to either login as an existing user, or to create a new account.

If you do not already have an Aeries Enrollment Portal account, create a new account. You must have a valid email address. If you don't have one, Google and other vendors provide free accounts. If you create a new account, check your email for a verification code to continue.

The Aeries Enrollment Portal account (used to register students), is completely different from the Aeries Parent Portal account you will receive after registration (once your student is enrolled).

If you begin the process and need to finish later, you will login as an existing user at that time.

For technical difficulties:

If you have any problem accessing the Online Enrollment Portal on a mobile device, you may need to use a desktop/laptop computer.  If you have trouble uploading documents or need language assistance, please contact the Registration Team at the numbers below.

Ensure You Have All Required Documents in Digital Form
The following documents must be uploaded during the registration process. Either scan your documents (Adobe Scan Android | iOS is one of many free scanning apps), or take a CLEAR picture:

1. Proof of Birthdate:  Birth Certificate, Passport or Other Proof of Birthdate

2. Current Immunization Record Provided by a Physician

The California School Immunization Law requires that all children receive a series of immunizations before entering school, and requires schools to enforce immunization requirements and maintain records of all children enrolled. Note: Students entering 7th or 8th grade must have documentation of a Tdap (whooping cough) immunization.

3. Verification of Residency (3 Documents)

Document 1 - Verification of Residency Form (Spanish) - only page 1 required unless lease/rental agreement not current

Document 2 - ONE of the following documents

• Current property tax statement
• Current mortgage statement
• Recorded grant deed
• Executed lease/rental agreement - if lease not current also have landlord complete Page 2 of Verification of Residency Form

Document 3 - ONE of the following documents

• Valid California Driver’s License or California State ID
• PG&E or Marin Municipal Water bill dated no more than 6 weeks prior to enrollment
• Voter registration information
• Paystub with name and address clearly indicated
• Correspondence from a government agency

Residency must be verified for any student who is (a) new to the District, (b) a former District student returning after a leave, or (c) matriculating from Bacich 4th grade to Kent 5th grade. Residency is defined as the location where a person lives/sleeps/domiciles. There can be only one primary residence (CA Code 243 - 244). For questions contact the District Office at 415-458-5130.

4. UTK/Kindergarten Documents and other health documents (if applicable)

Complete and submit for TK/K: Transition to UTK/Kindergarten - Parent Info (Spanish)
Preschool Teacher completes:  Transition Information Preschool (Spanish)

Complete and submit for all grades: Health History (Spanish)
Health Examiner completes for TK/K/Gr 1: Oral Health Assessment/Waiver (Spanish)
Health Examiner completes for TK/K/Gr 1: School Entry Health Exam

Read for TK/K/Gr 1: Oral Health Brochure (Spanish)

Once you have completed the online registration process and upload all requested documents, please
review the completed registration form carefully to ensure that all requested information is accurate, then click to Finish and Submit.

If you do not receive email notification of submission, check that you’ve clicked Submit.

For Incoming Kent Students only:

After you finish and submit your online enrollment form, please email registrar Jeanne Sellers (kentregistration@kentfieldschools.org) to schedule an appointment to complete the final steps, which may include a Math placement test.

The purpose of Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) is to provide equity and access to all four year olds. We believe in providing a UTK program that is high quality while fiscally maintainable.

Key Elements of KSD UTK Program:

KSD provides access to a 3 hour UTK program for KSD families through a partnership with local community agencies serving preschool age children - Marin Enrichment and College of Marin Child Development Program.

Eligibility: Child must turn 4 years of age by September 1 and be a resident of the Kentfield School District

KSD UTK Offerings

KSD UTK, Offered by Marin Enrichment

• Schedule: 9am-12:25pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays and 9am-12pm on Wednesdays.
• Staff: High Quality Early Educators employed by Marin Enrichment.
• Curriculum: California Preschool Foundations with focus on school readiness and social emotional development
• Location: Bacich School

College of Marin (COM) Child Development Program | California State Preschool Program (CSPP)

• Schedule: Subsidized 3 hour program. Hours vary based on need.
• Staff: High Quality Early Educators employed by COM.
• Curriculum: California Preschool Foundations with focus on school readiness and social emotional development
• Location: COM Child Development Center, 1144 Magnolia Ave.
• Full fee service program available, although limited space for prioritized enrollment (CSPP eligibility criteria)

UTK Enrollment Process

• KSD UTK Eligible student enrolls with the KSD and completes the Marin Enrichment registration process in the KSD parent/caregiver portal
• KSD/Community agency representative may connect with family to discuss options and next steps with UTK Program offerings
